COMMON INSTRUCTIONS & POLICIES

This page summarizes the submission guidelines, review process, publication policies, and author resources applicable to all papers submitted to IEEE ICWITE 2026.

Submission Guidelines

  • Submitted manuscripts must be structured as technical papers. They must represent original, unpublished research that is not currently under review elsewhere.

  • Manuscripts can be submitted with  4 to 6 pages, double-column, IEEE conference style.

  • At least one author of every submitted paper must have a woman author.

  • Use the official IEEE conference templates for MS Word and LaTeX (IEEE eXpress templates).

  • Electronic submissions must be in readable PDF format.

  • The papers which are in arxiv like sites will be desk rejected as they reveal author identities which is against double blind review.

  • All manuscripts must be submitted via the CMT portal: Click Here (CMT)

  • Acknowledgement: The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bear all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.

Presentation Guidelines

  • All the presentations must be done offline.

  • One woman author is a must in the paper submission.

  • Award will be considered for women author presentation.

Review Process

  • All submitted manuscripts undergo mandatory plagiarism screening as per IEEE guidelines.

  • Double-blind review is used. Authors must remove names, affiliations, acknowledgements, and any identifying information from the manuscript.

  • Self-citations must be written in the third person to avoid revealing identity.

  • Papers are evaluated on originality, technical depth, clarity, significance, and relevance to the conference scope.

  • The author list at the time of submission is final. No reordering, addition, or removal of authors is allowed after submission.

  • Papers violating formatting, page limits, or anonymization rules will be rejected without review.

  • A paper may be moved to WIP/Poster category if it does not meet depth requirements; authors will have 1 week to submit a shorter version.

Publication Policy

  • At least one author of every accepted paper must register for the conference and present it in offline mode only.

  • Each accepted paper requires a separate author registration.

  • Co-authors can register at discounted registration charges.

  • All accepted and presented papers will be submitted for possible inclusion into IEEE Xplore, subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.

  • Accepted papers require a signed copyright transfer agreement as per IEEE policy.
